Girls Night iOut
Tuesday night a bunch of us girls went and saw the So You Think You Can Dance dance tour and it was a lot of fun. We also went to the driving range. We have been planning this girls activity for probably no joke, a year and a half now. So it was good to accomplish what we had been planning to do for so long. I love to golf and have been doing it for a long time but Tamara and Sonia did very well for their first time. It was fun! Good job ladies!

Beauty Update
Well, my hair was getting to be a thorn in my side. My bangs grew out and my mane--untamed. I couldn't figure out what to do, so I decided to have the lady lop off a bunch of hair to make a mound full of bangs. What do you think of my new dew?

Scooter's passing
My parents had to put my dog down because he was in a lot of pain. I will really miss him. My mom sent me a poem she wrote about him and I thought I'd share it. He was a very smart dog. He was very peppy and friendly. He was also a VERY obedient dog.
TILL WE MEET AGAIN, SCOOTER...
We had a cute little mutt
for about nineteen years.
He never caused any problems
and his devotion, brought joyful tears.
He got along with all the dogs
as their owners walked on by.
He'd rush to the fence and say hello!
He was quite the little guy...
When he turned 112 years old
I took him to a groomer.
After they shaved him down a bit,
he looked like an early bloomer!
He started acting like a puppy again
and we thought it was just so cute!
But sometimes at night we muzzled him,
as his barking, we had to mute.
Well, this year was the worst for him.
His health took a downward turn.
He lost his hearing and most of his sight
and for the old days, we did yearn...
He then lost his bodily functions
and we still just tried to cope.
His pain got worse, he started to convulse,
and to be relieved was his only hope.
I took him to the Vet
as it was best we put him to sleep.
With his head in my hand, I sobbed...
He was relaxed and never uttered a peep.
I told him I'd see him on the other side
and to let us know he was okay.
The Vet then said, "He's passed away."
Closed the door and let me stay.
I shook his head briskly!
Because to me, he didn't seem dead?
I said my final good-byes
and drove home with a heavy head.
I know this was right,
it had to be done.
He did die peacefully,
before prolonged agony had begun.
I take comfort in this,
but now there's the empty nest.
He was very unique and quite
frankly, the best...

4th of July
For the 4Th of July my brother-in-law and sister invited me to Huntington, UT for their family reunion. We camped and played in the water with the kids and rode on Kelly & Chad's waverunner. We also got to go for a ride on Dee & Lisa's boat! Michelle and I went tubing for the first time together in years. Randy whipped us around like crazy to make us fall off. I kept falling off! Finally we switched sides and I did a lot better. We sure had a lot of fun. This reminded me of the good old days when my parents had a boat! It was great to see my little baby niece, Aleah. She is getting so big and cute!
